We live in a world of speed. Fast paced and on the go, constantly. Slowing down can be difficult. Yoga allows this. Yoga allows you to bring your body and mind into a state of harmony and balance.

What is Mindful Yoga?

Our slow-flow yoga (or Vinyasa yoga) allows for a slow, rhymical and dynamic yoga class. It emphasizes the importance between movement with breathing. The practice uses slow flowing yoga postures to promote mobility and healing in the body with a focus on proper alignment and the art of deep breathing.

How Mindful Yoga promotes health

The slow flowing yoga postures are used to promote mobility and healing in the body. This is combined with a focus on proper alignment and the art of deep breathing. The Slow flow movements help to create a strong connection with the breath and poses are strung seamlessly together and target the whole body. The class feels like one long free-flowing pose, much like a moving meditation. This helps to not only create balanced strength and flexibility but also has a powerful calming effect on the nervous system inducing a feeling of deep relaxation.

The magic is in the slow movement. This allows each pose time to work by slowing everything down promoting better concentration and allowing the foggy mind to become focused, alert and clear.

What props are used in our yoga classes

If you have suffered an injury or have certain concerns with structural imbalances, our Slow Flow Yoga will assist towards your strength, flexibility, and mobility. We ensure you begin at a pace that is right for your individual needs. Props, such as blocks, blankets, straps and bolsters are used to assist you through comfortable and achievable poses that are safe and beneficial to your body’s health.

Who is the instructor?!?

Kirran is our Yoga instructor. She combines her years of teaching experience with her anatomical and biomechanical knowledge creating an incredible class that leaves you feeling… amazing and totally blissed!

How many people per class?

At Total Balance, we hold quietly warm classes with a maximum of 4 participants per class. This allows us to offer and increase in personal attention to each participant focusing on form, posture, and progression.

How much?

Class passes are structured to allow you to integrate Yoga into your weekly lives with ease.

Single Pass: $35

10 Term Class Pass: $250

Terms dates:

TERM 1: January 13- February 17

TERM 2: February 24- May 26

TERM 3: June 2- August 4

TERM 4: August 11- October 13

TERM 5: October 20- December 22

How the terms work:

Term prices are much cheaper than a single class pass. Once you have purchased a term pass, that locks in your spot in your chosen class for that whole term. Nobody can take your place! This ensures that you don’t miss out on your class.

No classes that are missed are refundable or transferable. Why? The simple reason that this is a small, semi-personalised yoga class. We ask for your commitment to a class when you buy a term pass.
